The Ministerial Standing Committee on Scientific and Technological Cooperation of the OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation) will hold several, sequential webinar meetings in October and November.

The first webinar is Introduction and Update on Inertial Confinement Fusion”, held by COMSTECH Basic Sciences Programme. Prof. Dr. Dimitri Batani from CELIA (Centre Lasers Intenses et Applications) at University of Bordeaux, will give his speech on October 12, 2021 at 15:00 – 16:30.

In the second webinar, “How to Build a Successful Academic Career?”, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ali Farag from Alexander von Humboldt Fellow and Program Director of the American University in Cairo, Egypt, will present his talk on October 28, 2021 at 15:00.

The third webinar, “The Patenting Process: Stages for Filing a Patent Application”, will be held by INSTP-COMSTECH Training Course on 1-3 November 2021. In following, the 3rd International Workshop on Functional Reverse Engineering of Machine Tools (WRE 2021) will be organized on 13–14 November, 2021.

The last COMSTECH Webinar will be on “Bioactivities of Secondary Metabolites from Turkish Medicinal Plants”. Prof. Dr. Bilge Sener, from Gazi University, will give speech November 23, 2021, at 14:00. She is also Adjunct Professor, H.E.J. Research Institute of Chemistry, ICCBS, University of Karachi.
