The Second National Conference on Development in Chemical Sciences and Industries was held at Jiroft University. Dr. Hossein Shekofteh, the president of Jiroft University, said aid: “Holding this conference as a scientific movement is part of the mission of Jiroft University to support industries, national production and create sustainable employment.” He added: “The purpose of this conference is to explain a series of independent activities and measures that exclusively enable the empowerment and promotion of the industry and companies operating.”
Dr. Shokfteh stated that industry is considered as a generator of sustainable employment in the country, clarified: Considering the importance of industry in the country, holding such conferences is a good opportunity to the most important driving force of the economy, namely the industry and mining sector. That is why Kerman province is very important to take a thoughtful look.” Appreciating the Iranian Chemistry Association for supporting Jiroft University in holding this conference, he said: “The second national conference on development in chemical sciences and industries by the faculty members of Jiroft University Chemistry at the national level and with the ISC license and under the supervision of the committee Industrial Chemistry of the Iranian Chemical Society was planned.”
Also, Dr. Neda Seyedi, the scientific secretary of the Second National Conference on Development in Chemical Sciences and Industries of the Chemical Chemistry Committee of the Iranian Chemical Association, said: “For the first time in 1995, this conference was held in cooperation with Kerman Industrial Towns and Jiroft and the Chemical Chemistry Committee of the Iranian Chemical Association.” She added: “This conference officially started the conference website in August 1400 and then the call for papers was announced after receiving permission from the ISC citation database and information.” She specified: “One hundred articles were received through the conference website and these articles were sent to the judges for judging and at the end the final result was informed to the users.” Dr. Seyedi stated that 12 articles were accepted as lectures and 77 articles were accepted as posters: One of the most important goals of this conference was to connect more industries and universities and to study the challenges of industries.”
