The Deputy Minister of Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Science said: “the establishment of a campus of science and technology parks in industrial centers with the cooperation of the small industries and industrial organization is on the agenda.”

In this meeting, Dr. Khair Ddin, Deputy Minister of Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, said: “One of the most important problems in the country is employment and one of the best platforms for creating employment for the educated community is science and technology parks and knowledge-based companies.”

Referring to the ability of university graduates to turn ideas into products, Dr. Ali Khairuddin added that the activities of more than 50,000 university graduates in knowledge-based companies have raised Iran’s technology rank among the countries in the world over the past 10 years.

The Deputy of Ministry stated that one of the problems of science and technology parks and knowledge-based companies is the lack of suitable development space and pointed out that existing and unused vacancies in industrial estates can be effective in solving this problem.

In following, he stressed that the conclusion of a tripartite memorandum between the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, the Vice President for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Silence can lead to greater synergy in helping to develop knowledge-based companies and establish campuses of science and technology parks in towns. Be industrialized.

Dr. Ali Rasoulian, Deputy MSRT and Managing Director of the Small Industries and Industrial Centers Organization of Iran, also referred to the transfer of land in industrial towns through auctions and called for the definition of a different support package for knowledge-based companies. Deputy Minister Samat said: “Considering the different and scientific work of knowledge-based companies should be seen differently from other companies, and this requires the definition of an index to identify high-tech companies.”

Regarding the transfer of land in industrial estates to science and technology parks, Dr. Rasoulian emphasized that we will use all legal capacities for this issue. Referring to the successful model of the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Science and Technology Park Industrial Innovation Center, the CEO of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran said that this shows a serious determination to develop industrial companies in industrial towns.

In the end, the Deputy Minister and the Managing Director of the Small Industries and Industrial Towns Organization of Iran called for serious cooperation between the Vice President for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology for the development of knowledge-based companies in industrial towns.

Also, Ismail Pir Ali, Director of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Science and Technology Park, examined the obstacles and challenges of establishing science and technology parks and knowledge-based companies in industrial estates and the need to form complexes in industrial centers to establish knowledge-based companies. He stressed the need to prevent duplication of work, save on infrastructure costs and consolidate inter-organizational financial support in the provinces.
