Gift Grant Scholarship
This grant, being of two types mentioned below, shall be awarded to the applicants meeting the requirements specified in Appendix 3 based on each country’s quota and each program’s admission capacity.
A) Immediate Family Member (Sister, Brother, Spouse) Grant: Upon examining the relevant documents, where it is determined that two of the applicants are from the same family, each one shall be awarded a grant through which they shall be exempted from paying 50% of tuition fees (except the tuition fees of Persian Language Teaching Center), dormitory expenses and healthcare insurance costs, provided that they meet the general requirements for receiving grants. Research (thesis) expenses and the costs of other welfare services shall be borne by the students themselves
B) Friend Grant: If the applicant introduces a third party from their country of origin for studying at International University of Chabahar and the introduced person does meet the requirements of studying at the University, both the introducing party and the introduced party, each one, shall be awarded a grant through which they shall be exempted from paying 15% of tuition fees (except the tuition fees of Persian Language Teaching Center), dormitory expenses and healthcare insurance costs. Research (thesis) expenses and the costs of other welfare services shall be borne by the students themselves
Appendix 3 : Individual Terms and Conditions of International University of Chabahar’s Gift Grant
Minimum high school diploma and pre-university overall averages (for studying at the bachelor’s level): 15 out of 20
Minimum bachelor’s overall averages (for studying at the master’s level): Humanities: 15 out of 20; non-humanities: 14 out of 20
Identity document for immediate family members need to have been confirmed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consulate or embassy in the applicant’s country of origin
The letters through which the applicants introduce their friends and/or relatives to the University need to have been confirmed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consulate or embassy in the applicant’s country of origin
Note 1: To remain qualified for the Grant, the students must retain their overall average for each semester above 17 out of 20 (for bachelor’s students) and above 16 out of 20 (for master’s students); otherwise, their grant shall be discontinued
Note 2: The Grant shall be awarded only once and only for one level of education, either the bachelor’s level or the master’s level
Note 3: The maximum age for using the Grant for bachelor’s and master’s programs shall be 22 and 26 years, respectively
Academic Scholarship
This type of scholarship shall be awarded to the applicants meeting the individual terms and conditions contained in Appendix 2 based on each country’s quota and each program’s admission capacity. Students receiving this type of scholarship shall be exempt from paying tuition fees (except the tuition fees of Persian Language Teaching Center); however, their welfare costs (including dormitory expenses and healthcare insurance costs) shall be borne by the students themselves
Appendix 2 : Individual Terms and Conditions of International University of Chabahar’s Academic Scholarship
Minimum high school diploma and pre-university overall averages (for studying at the bachelor’s level): 17 out of 20
Minimum bachelor’s overall averages (for studying at the master’s level): Humanities: 17 out of 20; non-humanities: 15 out of 20
Note 1: To remain qualified for the scholarship, the students’ must retain their overall average for each semester above 17 out of 20 (for bachelor’s students) and above 16 out of 20 (for master’s students); otherwise, their scholarship shall be discontinued
Note 2: The scholarship shall be awarded only once and only for one level of education, either the bachelor’s level or the master’s level.
Note 3: The awarded scholarship shall cover each course in any level of education only once; and should the student fail to fulfill the requirements for a given course for the first time, they shall be required to pay up its tuition fee in full before they can take it for a second time
Note 4: The maximum age for using the Scholarship for bachelor’s and master’s programs shall be 22 and 26 years, respectively
Special Skill Grant Scholarship
This grant shall be awarded to the applicants being expert in an athletic, artistic, etc. field based on each country’s quota and each program’s admission capacity. The applicants recognized qualified for this grant (as per the individual terms and conditions contained in Appendix 4) shall be exempted only from paying 20% of tuition fees (except the tuition fees of Persian Language Teaching Center)
Appendix 4 : Individual Terms and Conditions of International University of Chabahar’s Special Skill Grant
Minimum high school diploma and pre-university overall averages (for studying at the bachelor’s level): 15 out of 20
Minimum bachelor’s overall averages (for studying at the master’s level): Humanities: 15 out of 20; non-humanities: 14 out of 20
The applicant shall be required to hold at least one training course related to their special skills at the University in exchange for the grant
The applicant needs to have a valid special skill certificate having been confirmed by the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consulate or embassy in the applicant’s country of origin
Note 1: To remain qualified for the scholarship, the students’ must retain their overall average for each semester above 17 out of 20 (for bachelor’s students) and above 16 out of 20 (for master’s students); otherwise, their scholarship shall be discontinued
Note 2: The Grant shall be awarded only once and only for one level of education, either the bachelor’s or the masters
Note 3: The maximum age for using the Grant for bachelor’s and master’s programs shall be 22 and 26 years, respectively
Full Scholarship
This type of scholarship shall be awarded to the top students of each program based on each country’s quota and each program’s admission capacity, whose individual terms and conditions have been mentioned in Appendix 1. Students receiving this type of scholarship shall be exempt from paying tuition fees (except the tuition fees of Persian Language Teaching Center), dormitory expenses and healthcare insurance costs. Research (thesis) expenses and the costs of other welfare services shall be borne by the students themselves
Appendix 1 : Individual Terms and Conditions of International University of Chabahar’s Full Scholarship
Minimum high school diploma and pre-university overall averages (for studying at the bachelor’s level): 19 out of 20
Minimum bachelor’s overall averages (for studying at the master’s level): Humanities: 19 out of 20; non-humanities: 18 out of 20
The applicant shall be required to publish academic papers in valid journals (at least one paper in an international journal or two in domestic journals) by mentioning the University in their affiliation in exchange for the scholarship (only for the applicants of master’s programs)
Note 1: To remain qualified for the scholarship, the students’ must retain their overall average for each semester above 18 out of 20 (for bachelor’s students) and above 17 out of 20 (for master’s students); otherwise, their scholarship shall be discontinued
Note 2: The scholarship shall be awarded only once and only for one level of education, either the bachelor’s level or the master’s level
