1-1 Definition and Purpose of the Program

The purpose of Industrial Management bachelor program is to train specialized manpower required by manufacturing and service industries as well as public and private institutions and companies and to acquaint students with the application of scientific management methods.

In addition to getting acquainted with the theoretical issues of financial management, the participants in this program will become familiar with new areas of the field and how to apply such knowledge in real-world situations. The specificity of this program is to increase analysis power in practical arenas by means of applied tools.

1-2 Alumni's Mission and Ability

The participants in this program, in addition to being familiar with the theoretical issues of industry management knowledge, will get acquainted with the applications of this field as well as the use of relevant and effective management software. In this way, the communication gap between skilled expert staff and management of institutions will be reduced to least amount possible. As a liaison between managers and administrative and technical staff, industrial managers will normally be responsible for the implementation and supervision of units.

1-3 Program Curriculum

The duration of the bachelor's degree in Industrial Management is 4 years; and all its courses are presented in 8 semesters. Each semester is 16 weeks long.

The curriculum consists of a combination of theoretical and practical courses.

1-4 Number and Type of Courses

The total number of courses included the curriculum of Industrial Management bachelor program adds up to 139 as follows:
General Courses, 22 units;
Basic Courses, 38 units;
Specialized Courses, 71 units;
and Elective Courses, 8 units.
