1-1 Definition and Purpose of the Program

The main purpose of Business Administration with a Concentration on Finance is to train and empower human capital for efficacious production in this sphere. The target community of this program constitutes people with a remarkable work experience and mostly undergraduates of engineering or basic sciences who look for the necessary management knowledge which will help them manage their business in a more fruitful and desirable manner.

MBA with a concentration on finance is remarkably practical in nature and aims at helping students acquire and apply new practical knowledge according to current principles and transfer their work experiences.

The main purpose of this program is to instantly empower managers in business. It is intended for people with various educational and work backgrounds.

In sum, this program aims at enabling and promoting business administrators in the light of local needs and priorities and within the framework of ethics and values.

1-2 Alumni's Mission and Ability

Graduates' Skills: Graduates are expected to acquire the following skills and advise managers of manufacturing and service organizations at various levels after completing an MBA program:

Managing and directing specialized departments of production and service organizations efficiently and effectively; managing and leading production and service organizations as senior managers or members of board of directors; and acting effectively and efficiently in various management departments of the organization such as finance, marketing, and human resources.

MBA programs usually last two years; and most of their students have significant work experience. Good interaction between students and professors, the possibility of taking various courses, and the suitability of the programs for changing jobs are among the benefits of MBA programs. Disadvantages include rather high costs of education and being away from the work environment.

1-3 Program Curriculum

The duration of each program is a maximum of 6 semesters, which will include theoretical courses and thesis. Each semester consists of 16 academic weeks.

1-4 Number and Type of Courses

The typical duration of the MBA program is 2 years, and it includes 4 semesters. The curriculum of this program is in accordance with the regulations and bylaws of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
