According to the latest published results of Webometrics ranking, Al-Zahra University (SA) has obtained the 1977 world ranking in more than 30,000 global institutions and the 37th national ranking among 704 Iranian institutes in this ranking and has succeeded in growing 1303 ranks in its global position.
Webometrics ranking system has started its research since 2004 and once every six months, it examines global higher education institutions in the dimensions of webometrics (weight: 50) and research (weight: 50). The criteria evaluated in this ranking include the visibility of the institutions’ websites, the number of citations received from the top 210 researchers, the number of highly cited articles, and the top 10% during the years 2015-2020.
